These Etched Bamboo Design 950 Sterling Silver Lighters seem to have been produced during the 2nd WW probably in Occupied Japan, and sold to Service Men.
Beautiful 1940s-50s 950 Sterling Silver Lighter with 1980s Zippo Insert.
To qualify as Sterling, the Silver content has to be at least 925, 92.5 percent Silver.
This Beauty is 950, meaning it's a high 95% Silver content.
